Using a generator in a Green Shack
Because a Green Shack doesn’t have electrical wiring or any kind of electrical installation, people cannot use any electronic gadgets inside. Solar powered gadgets are useful, but you cannot use them all the time. As the result, many people use generators. They are very useful and they will provide you electricity when you need it. Also, they are cheap, small and they can power a TV or several light bulbs. On the other side, they can be dangerous.
Because many generators have small fuel tanks and they need constant adjustment, people like having them near. So, they place them in a Green Shack. This can be deadly! Generators are small engines, basically. So they produce CO (carbon monoxide). This gas can cause toxic poisoning, and in some cases it is deadly! You may think that you will notice the presence of that gas and you will turn off the generator or go out. Actually, you won’t. This is even more severe when you sleep. You won’t even notice that the gas is in a Green Shack.
Some people are using pipes or hoes in order to make gas ‘’go’’ outside. This may look like a good idea, but it isn’t. Everything you make is a custom build, so there can be some damages, flaws or even worse, leaks. The chances are high that you may experience something of this. As a result, you will have gasses inside a Green Shack. So, avoid this. The best choice is to place a generator outside, far from Green Shack. Also, don’t cover it with a blanket or similar.
