Climate change is a fact, and so it is the fact that we have to do something to stop it. It can affect us in every aspect of our lives, and people who suffer from allergies feel the effects more than anyone else. If you have an allergy, you know how exhausted you feel in the spring, when everything seems to irritate your body.
Because the climate is changing, our body becomes more sensitive to a number of factors. We have grown up to accommodate a certain climate. If, all of a sudden, we move from one season to the other one in just a matter of days, this destroys our natural metabolism and it puts our body under great stress. This can decrease our immunity and it can make our body sensitive to many external factors. If you had allergies to certain fruits or pollen, you will probably have them more often and in a much more severe form.
There can be many new things that can irritate one’s body, since there is no time to adjust to a new temperature. The flowers, trees, sand, dust, and certain insects all can have a negative impact on your health if you are exposed to them all of a sudden, without prior adjustment. This is yet one of the many reasons why we have to try to stop climate change and why we need to pay more attention to what is happening with our planet.
If you want to keep your allergies under control, discuss your condition with your doctor and explain that your symptoms have worsened in the last years.
